COP Receives Prestigious Parent’s TV Council Seal
of Approval Award San Antonio, Texas – March 8, 2006
– MMPS USA, LLC and Enterprise Management Services (EMS), dba POWER
COP, the leading time regulation device for consumer electronics
products, announced today that it has received the prestigious Seal of
Approval award from the Parent’s
Television Council (PTC). The
PTC Seal of Approval recognizes excellence in the entertainment industry
by awarding its PTC
Seal of Approval. This award is given
to worthy television programs, made-for-TV movies, motion pictures and
DVDs that help parents by providing entertainment suitable for the
entire family. Like the Good Housekeeping Seal, the PTC Seal of Approval gives consumers the information and
confidence they need to make the best choices. “We
are very excited to receive this award as it further validates the POWER
COP as an effective tool for parents in this ever-growing challenge”
Dean Hollis, POWER COP inventor. Debuting
in 2005, the POWER COP helps promote more family time, more physical
exercise and more time for studying.
Since its launch, the POWER COP has quickly become an invaluable
tool for parents to help regulate the amount of time their children
spend using electronics devices. According
to the National Institute on Media and the Family, children spend more
time sitting in front of electronic screens than any other activity
besides sleeping. The
POWER COP was developed to help parents monitor and regulate the amount
of time children spend on these “time wasting” activities. About
Parent’s Television Council The Parents Television Council was founded in 1995 to ensure that
children are not constantly assaulted by sex, violence and profanity on
television and in other media. This national grassroots organization has
over one million members across the United States, and works with
television producers, broadcasters, networks and sponsors in an effort
to stem the flow of harmful and negative messages targeted to children.
The PTC also works with elected and appointed government officials to
enforce broadcast decency standards. Most importantly, the PTC produces
critical research and publications documenting the dramatic increase in
sex, violence and profanity in entertainment. This information is
provided free of charge so parents can make informed viewing choices for
their own families. About EMS
